You have to keep - Marcelle Kpan
Whosoever is born of God does not sin, but He who was born of God keeps him well, and the evil one does not touch him (1 John 5:18)
Keep oneself is to protect, care for self, keep his body. The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:8 that the devil prowls around seeking whom he may devour. She recommends to be sober and watch. As a son or daughter of God, you must watch over your life, you should not give an opportunity to the devil to touch you, to hurt you. You do not practice immorality, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, discord, jealousy, animosity, disputes, dissensions, heresies, envy, drunkenness , revelries (Galatians 5:19-21). You must renounce anger, slander, and equivocal (Colossians 3:8). No rake, impure or greedy, an idolater has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Ephesians 5:5). You must flee sin to enjoy the protection of God, the grace of God and also to fulfill your destiny.
Sin separates from God, he departs from God.
Isaiah 58: 2
2 Every day they seek me, they want to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God, they ask of me the judgments of justice, they want to approach God. -
Do not live in any sin whatever your arguments. God does not want you in sin. God wants your sanctification, he wants you abstiennes debauchery, he wants you to know your own body in holiness and honesty (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4). We must seek sanctification, sanctification live in, because the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God, that's life (Romans 6:23), joy, peace, victory. Once you were darkness, now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8). Examines what is pleasing to the Lord and takes no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather condemns them (Ephesians 5:10). Cleanse you from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit (2 Corinthians 7:1).
Noah is kept and was saved from the flood, Joseph kept and he was raised as Prime Minister in Egypt as intended. As you walk in the will of God, that you obey God, you will not live in sin, God will fulfill His promises in your life. He will not suffer thy foot to (Psalms 121:3). God protects (Psalms 91:1), his angel encamps around those who fear Him (Psalm 34:8), and he delivers them, protects its name (Psalm 20:2), and his hand supporting his arm strength (Psalms 89:22). God is a refuge, a shield, a retreat, a refuge. Walking according to the Word of God and he will watch over you. Put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him (Colossians 3:10).
Do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body and does not obey its lusts. Do not book your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but give yourself to God as living death that you're offering your members to God as instruments of righteousness (Romans 6:12-13) .
That sin is not a barrier between you and God but your sanctification is a barrier between you and the devil.
